Confession: I Have A Horrible Addiction

It’s Monday and that means I’m going to confess something to you my readers.

It’s true. I’m an addict. I’ve been battling my addiction since before I can remember. Brace yourselves, this one is a biggie!

I am miserably, horribly, addicted to…TV! That’s right, I’ve said it. I have a problem.

When the current TV season was coming up, I sat down to figure out what shows I needed to set the DVR to record. I knew I watched a lot of shows, but it wasn’t until that day that I realized just how many I couldn’t live without each week. They say the first step to addiction is admitting you have a problem, right? So let me list out for you just what shows I watch. Maybe then I can move on with my life… (Ok, that was a lie. I’m not going to stop watching any of my shows!)

  1. Once Upon A Time
  2. Revenge
  3. The Blacklist
  4. The Originals
  5. Pretty Little Liars
  6. Sons of Anarchy
  7. American Horror Story
  8. Nashville
  9. The Vampire Diaries
  10. Reign
  11. Scandal
  12. Bones
  13. The Carrie Diaries

Oh holy crap! 13 Shows! And those are just the ones I record. There are several others that I watch throughout the week that I don’t even feel the need to list (read: hours of Big Bang Theory).  That doesn’t even include the shows that are not on this season. Others that I watch weekly are Franklin & Bash, Switched at Birth and Bates Motel (If it was picked up for a second season. I haven’t heard anything about it since last season.) There were a couple other shows I watched on ABC Family that were cancelled so at least that cuts the list down a bit.

So I’ve admitted my addiction. I’m supposed to feel better right? Nope. Not at all. Now I’m just frustrated that the past week was a holiday and none of my shows were actually on.

Is your TV addiction as bad as mine? Feel free to tell me about it in the comments!
