Merry Christmas!

Wishing everyone a Very Merry Christmas!

It’s Christmas Eve and that means dinner at my dad’s house. My dad’s side of the family is Polish Catholic which means no meat and tons of tradition. Every year my dad makes fish (not sure what kind, it changes every year), prunes with noodles, pierogi and sour kraut and sardine soup. Don’t you wish you were coming over for dinner too? I know this isn’t a meal most people would enjoy, and I’m not going to pretend to like it either, but I am so thankful to be a part of our family’s tradition.

When we get back home tonight we will be baking fresh chocolate chip cookies for Santa and setting them out by the tree with a big glass of milk. Then the husband and I will be helping Santa prepare the last of the gifts before we head off to sleep.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas full of family, friends, love and laughter!!
