High Five For Friday

Hello Friday and Happy Valentine’s Day! It’s been one of those weeks I tell ya. I’ve been so exhausted this week that I just didn’t have the energy to blog. Sorry for the radio silence to those of you that actually read this everyday. But amongst the sleepiness there were several good things this week. So let’s get to the link up!

1. Monday the kids and I went out for a little dinner date at one of our favorite places since the husband was at work late where they drew me napkin monkey doodles.

2. Tuesday evening, while I was cooking dinner, the husband had time to do a little video gaming with the kids. I just love moments like this!

3. I have THE BEST husband ever! Wednesday on his day off, he went Valentine’s Day shopping for yours truly. He was so excited about my present that he ended up giving it to me early. Say hello to Emmy everyone! The purse liner is emerald green, hence the name I gave her.
He also picked me up a CUTE pair of black and white flats in his shopping adventures!

4. Yesterday I picked up Rylan and took her out for a lunch date at Subway. It was a nice time out in the middle of our days.

5. The next several weeks at Universal Studios is the annual Mardi Gras Concert Series. This weekend the kids and I are going to see Thomas Rhett!

I hope you all had a great week and are enjoying your Valentine’s Day! Hopefully I will be back to blogging Monday. Since it’s a confession day, if you have something you want to know about me, leave me a comment below and I will answer your questions!

  1. Oh, I am really looking forward to dates with my kiddos! What video game is that they’re playing? Chris is into Clash of Clans these days. We make jokes about it all the time. Your husband is incredible for buying you a handbag you love. Did you coach him? My husband wouldn’t dare! 🙂

    1. They are playing Disney Infinity. We have no idea how to play it but we sure have fun trying to figure it out! And the hubby is actually really good at picking things out for me. He bought me my first Coach before I even thought they were awesome!
